Living in an industrial city that never quite welcomed him, Presto is used to walking his small world alone... Until a chance encounter with an optimistic raccoon named Sunny.

Thanks to an impulsive act of kindness, Presto's world suddenly opens up, turning his days into adventures instead of the bleak survival he had grown to expect. But this newfound brightness also makes Presto’s world that much more dangerous, when he realizes that he has so much more to lose than ever before.

With luck, this gang can take on the world.

The Artist

My name is Baylee, and I have been working on Presto and the Gang since I was 12 years old. I’ve been drawing animals my whole life, but this particular gang has stuck with me for over half it, growing and changing together. After everything, they’re finally ready to share their stories with the world!

I love writing and drawing and have always dreamed of having an animated cartoon of my own. Presto and the Gang was originally intended to BE that animated cartoon, and I still believe that one day it can be. But I couldn’t wait any longer to share them with everyone, and my love for comics is just as strong, so I took matters into my own hands.

I'm excited at the idea that Presto and the Gang can exist in multiple mediums, too, as they are both so unique in how they can tell a story. I will try my best to make the most of the comic format and everything it offers!

When does the comic update?

As of now, the comic updates twice a week, every Monday and Thursday!

Why do the nocturnal animals on the cast not abide by that rule?

While a significant amount of the main cast are species that live nocturnally, within this universe they are able to break that instinct much more easily. Characters like Presto and Sunny simply prefer to be active during the daytime, and choose to live that way. However, this is NOT a common practice amongst every creature, and they are very much outliers in this practice.

How old are the Gang? How do their lifespans differ?

The animals in this universe do not live by the same lifespans of their real-life counterparts. Cartoon logic makes their lifespans fall more in line with that of humans!

When will [character] appear in the comic?

Several main cast members have not yet appeared officially in the comic yet but have been shown off in promotional art and videos. These characters will appear within the next 3 chapters:

Renee and Calypso will debut in Chapter 2
Aiden and Lumina will debut in Chapter 3

The actual timeframe that it will take for these chapters to be posted will depend on how quickly I am able to draw the comic! Keep in mind that each chapter was originally written with the intention of being a 22-minute or longer episode of animation, so it may take a bit of time for me to get there!
